Mist
Meet Mist
Pretty little Mist has recently returned from her loan home due to a change in circumstances. She is a lovely sweet natured pony who is ready for rehoming again as a companion. Mist was originally rehomed as a youngster but did not take to ridden work once mature and was extremely reactive under saddle so is strictly a non-ridden companion. She is a very sweet natured pony who loves grooming sessions and adores lots of attention. Mist is easy to do but will need regular handling to maintain her good manners as she will try to push her luck if allowed to. She is well behaved on vet or farrier days and would make a great addition to someone’s herd of ponies. Mist is a typical native pony and will gain weight easily so will need field mates who are also kept on restricted grazing. She is a hardy pony and will happily live out year-round and is used to living in a mixed herd. Mist is very affectionate and makes a strong bond with her handler so will be a much-loved companion in a new home. If you think this bonny mare sounds right for you, please apply online.
Important stuff
Mist can never be ridden or driven.
All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Mist is not suitable to be worked.
History
Mist came in to the farm as part of a welfare case in June 2016; she was unhandled and very shy on arrival at Belwade Farm.
