Richard (Freddie)
Meet Richard (Freddie)
Freddie is an adorable chap who loves attention and a cuddle and is looking for a non ridden home. He currently lives out 24/7 on restricted grazing and this will be an important factor in a home to manage his weight. Freddie loves company and due to separation anxiety, he will require a home where he has a constant friend in the field or, if stabled, that he is able to see next to him. He could live in a gelding herd and gets on with all his current field buddies in a relaxed manner.
Important stuff
Richard (Freddie) can never be ridden or driven.
All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Richard (Freddie) is not suitable to be worked.
History
Freddie arrived at World Horse Welfare, Hall Farm in Norfolk in October 2022 after the owner contacting us for help. He was transferred to Glenda Spooner Farm in Somerset along with several other ponies in March 2023.
