Meet Yum Yum's Snowball

Snowball, a sweet-natured little mare, is looking for a new home as a companion pony. She is sociable, very affectionate and good to handle in all ways. Snowball would make a great companion to other ponies and has lived with both mares and geldings. She has probably lived in a herd all of her life so she may become upset if left alone. At only 9hh it is important to keep Snowball at the right body condition, she has had no apparent history of laminitis or other health problems but prevention is always best. Snowball had a tooth removed this year so will need to be checked by an equine dentist every six months to ensure she stays comfortable. Yum Yum's Snowball can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Yum Yum's Snowball is not suitable to be worked.

History

Snowball came into our care with a group of ponies whose owner was sadly too unwell to continue to look after her.
