Meet Dexter

Lovely Dexter is now looking for his new home as a non-ridden companion due to confirmational issues. Dexter is a very inquisitive boy, who always wants to know what you are doing and will try and get involved. He can try and push the boundaries on what he can and cannot do, so he will be looking for someone who is knowledgeable of horses like this. Dexter does not like to be left alone, so he will be looking for a home where he always has at least one equine friend for company. Dexter can gain weight easily in the summer so he will need his grazing restricted and monitored throughout the year. He is well behaved for the vet and will stand nicely for the farrier. As he is very interested in mares he will be looking for a gelding only home, with friends who are in need of similar grazing. Important stuff

Dexter can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Dexter is not suitable to be worked.

History

Dexter came in to our care as an unhandled colt as part of a prosecution case. He has since been out at a home.
