Meet Oak Apple Acer (Ace)

Ace is a very handsome and intelligent chap. He needs an experienced handler who is able to provide him with clear and consistent instructions. Ace is a sociable boy who gets on well with others in his herd, he is particularly fond of 2 youngsters he currently shares with. Ace can only share with geldings as his behaviour changes if mares are introduced to his herd. Ace has had laminitis in the past so he he is best suited to share with other small ponies on similar dietary requirements. Overall, providing Ace has an experienced handler and is kept with geldings only, on restricted grazing, he will make a lovely little field companion.

Oak Apple Acer (Ace) can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Oak Apple Acer (Ace) is not suitable to be worked.

History

Ace came to Hall farm as part of a prosecution case in April 2013 He was recently returned from loan following a change in circumstances
