Giving in memory is a special way to remember a loved one, beloved horse, or much-missed pet. Whether it is through an online tribute fund, funeral collection, one-off or regular donation, we are grateful for your decision to honour your family member or friend’s love of horses, and to help support our work improving the lives of horses in need.

Here are the ways you can donate in memory of someone.

Online tribute funds

We understand how important it is to have a special place to remember those we love. By creating an online memorial with MuchLoved, you can build a beautiful, lasting tribute to honour your loved one’s memory at the same time as supporting our work, to help us continue our mission in their name.

Setting up a tribute fund is easy and provides you with a special place to share your favourite photos and memories, and as a space for reflection for friends and family. Donations to the tribute fund will be paid directly to the charity, so you don’t have to do anything. You can also use the page to commemorate birthdays and anniversaries.

Funeral collections

Many families find comfort in choosing a charity collection helping to improve the lives of horses in need in place of traditional funeral flowers.

To make things easier for you, we have partnered with MuchLoved to host online funeral notices and memorial collections. It takes just a moment to set up a page where friends can leave messages and donate safely. All contributions come directly to World Horse Welfare, so you don’t have the worry of handling or paying in funds during a difficult time.

If you wish to transfer funds to us from an offline funeral collection, you can contact the team by telephoning +44 (0)1953 497 239. Our office hours are 8:30am until 5pm, Monday to Friday.
