Terrific Teasel loves adventures

15-year-old Teasel was rehomed by Vicky Stacey in 2014 as a companion pony and has been a much-loved member of the family ever since. Vicky says:

“We rehomed Teasel in April 2014 and it is the best decision we ever made. Teasel has been an amazing companion pony. She has kept four different horses company over the years and has always adapted well to new arrivals or sad departures.

“She is currently a companion to my ridden horse, Autumn. Last year I decided to try hacking out with Autumn and leading Teasel. Teasel has absolutely loved going out on adventures and copes brilliantly with the traffic and everything thrown at her. This led to the idea of taking the whole family on holiday to Somerset for a riding adventure.

“In April this year we loaded up Autumn, Teasel, the two dogs, me and my husband in the lorry and headed off to Pardlestone Farm in the Quantock Hills. Teasel travelled like a pro and adapted to her new holiday home with ease.

“We ventured out on the Quantock Hills, me riding Autumn and leading Teasel, with my husband cycling on his mountain bike. We had the most wonderful time exploring the area and hopefully will make it annual family trip.”
