Meet Windscott Quip

***Recently, a small number of young ponies at Glenda Spooner Farm have experienced cold-like symptoms and have tested positive for a bacterial infection called Strep Zoo. Therefore, due to temporary restrictions at this centre, we are unable to accept applications for this horse at the moment. This is a precautionary measure and we look forward to reopening applications as soon as we are able to do so. We appreciate your patience and encourage you to revisit this profile for updates.*** Quip is looking for her new home as a non ridden companion. Quip is a very sweet natured mare, and when relaxed and in routine, she loves a fuss and a groom. Quip can be sensitive to change and new situations and does take time to settle into a new environment so we are looking for a home for Quip with someone who has experience handling this type of pony. A calm, confident approach is necessary to ensure that Quip can learn to cope with anything new. When she is sure and understands, she is very quick to learn. Quip is very sociable with other mares and we would love to find Quip a quiet, experienced home where she will make an excellent equine friend. She can stable part time in a quiet environment, can have normal grazing and would need the option to be able to live in part time through the winter. Quip will need to travel to her new home in a lorry.
