Meet Bison

Bison is a friendly little chap who gets on with all in his herd. He is generally good to handle although he is a typical boy who doesn't see the need for grooming! He is never rude with it, just a bit fidgety. Bison has the odd "baby moment" but he is still very young and with some gentle encouragement he will follow his handler. Bison can also be a bit jumpy in new situations so he needs an experienced handler to build up his confidence. This will probably improve as he matures and he has seen a bit more of the world. Bison could possibly be backed to ride in the future if his rehomer has previous experience of this although this will depend very much on how he develops as he matures. Bison's mother was 13.0hh and Bison will probably be a similar height or slightly bigger as an adult. However, this is only an estimate as we have no knowledge of his sire. If ridden Bison will have a maximum rider weight limit of 9 to 9.5 stones. We would be equally happy for Bison to fill a valuable role as a delightful companion only.
