Meet Mischief

Mischief is a very friendly little mare looking for a home as a non-ridden companion. Mischief has a wonderful temperament and is interested in everything. She is always the first over for a fuss and groom and is very good to handle. The ideal home for Mischief would be where she could live out on restricted grazing with her equine friends. As she came in as part of a mixed herd, Mischief could potentially learn to live with a gelding if introduced sensibly. As she loves the companionship of the other horses in her field and has good social skills, we wouldn’t be looking for a home where she would be left alone.

Important stuff

Mischief can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Mischief is not suitable to be worked.

History

Mischief came in to our care with several other New Forest ponies in the Summer of 2020. She had not had any handling and was in very poor condition.
