Panda

Meet Panda

Panda is ready to rehome as a non ridden companion due to poor action behind. Panda is a friendly, inquisitive little pony, who is very good to catch, handle, groom, bath and for the vet and farrier. He is currently living out with a group of geldings, but will happily come in to a stable to be fussed over and for weight management. Panda can be taken out for inhand walks to help with his weight and give him variety, but he cannot be lunged or long reined. He needs his weight watching, so would be best suited living with equines of similar needs. He doesn't like being left on his own, so it is important he has the company of another equine at all times. If you can offer Panda a home, please apply online.

Important stuff

Panda can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Panda is not suitable to be worked.

History

Panda came into Penny Farm as part of a large welfare case. He was completely unhandled and very nervous.
