Meet Larry

Larry is ready to rehome as a non ridden companion. He is a loveable little character, who likes lots of fuss and attention. He is good to handle, groom, bath and for the vet and farrier. He gets on well with others, and will mix with mares and geldings. He needs his weight watching all year round, so would be best suited to being in a home with ponies of similar needs, and is quite happy to adjust to any routine. He can be a little difficult to catch, so he has his headcollar left on in the field, but he can never resist a treat. Larry would love to find a home where he will be taken out for inhand walks to explore and to help with his weight. If you can offer Larry a home, please apply online.

Important stuff

Larry can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Larry is not suitable to be worked.

History

Larry came into Penny Farm in 2010 as a foal at foot within a very large case. They were found living in unsuitable conditions, with overgrown feet and were unhandled on arrival.
