How has our project helped?
Through our project with Costa Rica Equine Welfare (CREW) Griselda has learnt the importance of good husbandry and regularly cleaning her horses hooves. Her husband is being professionally taught how to trim their feet.
Training within indigenous communities like Ngabe is challenging as each group has their own language, but with the help from Griselda who translates the training sessions to the local language it is made possible.
Griselda helps in another way too. She visits local schools to teach children about the importance of, and how to best care for their horse. She is ensuring that the next generation of her local community have the skills to give horses a promising future.
