About Glenda Spooner Farm’s Stableyard
The stableyard at Glenda Spooner Farm is at the heart of the rehabilitation process for horses in our care in somerset — from providing a safe and secure environment for emergency veterinary treatment for new arrivals, to helping unhandled horses safely learn about being around humans.
Our dedicated team of fourteen grooms work alongside external specialists such as the vet, farrier, Equine Dental Technician and physiotherapist to tailor each horse’s rehabilitation programme. Glenda Spooner Farm can care for up to 80 horses and ponies and all of our grooms are responsible for their own group of horses who they look after on their road to recovery.
