Meet Fronwen Maggie

Maggie is ready to rehome as a non ridden companion. She is an incredibly sweet mare who loves lots of fuss and attention. She makes a great companion or nanny horse as she is just so laid back and gets on with everyone. She is very good to handle, catch, groom, bath and for the vet and farrier. Maggie has had mild laminitis in the past which was caught very early on. She is currently living out on a bald field, so would be fine to carry on with this routine if the grass was limited in a new home. She equally is quite happy to come into a stable as part of a routine. She doesn't like being left on her own, so needs a home where she will have the company of another equine at all times. Maggie is such a lovely horse, and would make a fantastic addition to someone's family. If you can offer Maggie a home, please apply online.

Important stuff

Fronwen Maggie can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Fronwen Maggie is not suitable to be worked.

History

Maggie came into Penny Farm with another pony after their owner could no longer care for them.
