Paralympic experiences: the horses’ perspective

with Natasha Baker and Georgina Sharples

On Wednesday 23rd October we had the first Welfare Wednesday Webinar of the season where we were delighted to be joined by decorated Paralympian, Natasha Baker and BEF Para Dressage Performance Manager, Georgina Sharples who discussed their experiences of this summer’s Paralympic Games in Paris. They reflected on the team’s success in Paris, but crucially looked at the event from the horse’s perspective – from preparing them to perform on the world stage to their management during the games. Roly led a structured discussion with Natasha and Georgina, then they answered the audience’s questions.
